AMNH Wind Chimes: Product Poster Design
Created in accompaniment to a physical wind chime, this poster depicts a potential product to be sold at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. The poster depicts the Mission golden-eyed tree frog, otherwise known as the Amazon milk frog.
The accompanying wind chime depicts the lifecycle of the Sockeye salmon and is created using an assortment of pieces made of bass wood, painted with acrylic paint, and varnished to protect against the elements. Each piece was hand-carved using carving knives, a Dremel, and a sanding belt. The largest part of the wind chime is the only part to have been cut using a band saw for its initial shape.
